FM200 clean gas fire extinguishing agent (HFC-227ea) is a new generation of environmentally friendly chemical gas fire extinguishing agent, specially designed for cultural heritage and knowledge protection scenarios such as libraries. Compared with traditional water sprinkler systems, it has six core advantages:
Non-destructive fire extinguishing
Ancient book protection: Heptafluoropropane vaporizes and extinguishes fire within 10 seconds, leaving no liquid residue (the water system causes paper expansion and ink staining, and the restoration cost is as high as $500 per page).
Electronic device security: Resistivity >10¹⁴Ω·cm, protecting the digital archive server and RFID management system (water spray causes circuit board short circuit, increasing the loss rate by 300%).
Precise fire extinguishing efficiency
The fire extinguishing concentration only requires a volume ratio of 7.5% to 9%, which is three times faster than the water system (water spray takes 5 to 8 minutes to penetrate the bookshelves), and is particularly suitable for dense bookshelf areas (with a spacing of less than 0.5 meters).
Building structure protection
The absence of corrosive gases avoids the risk of mold in wooden structure libraries (water stains cause the moisture content of wood to be greater than 18%, leading to deformation), and complies with the "Code for Fire Protection Management of Ancient Buildings" GB/T 23809-2020.
Environmental protection compliance
