Description:
FM200 Clean Agent (heptafluoropropane), as a new generation of environmentally friendly gas fire extinguishing agent, is specially designed for high-risk scenarios in manufacturing factories, featuring efficient fire extinguishing, equipment protection and environmental friendliness. Its main component is HFC-227ea. It extinguishes fires through dual mechanisms of chemical inhibition and cooling and temperature reduction. The fire extinguishing efficiency is more than twice that of traditional CO₂, and it can extinguish Class A (solid), Class B (liquid), Class C (gas) and Class E (electrical) fires within 10 seconds. As a non-conductive medium (insulation resistance > 10¹²Ω), FM200 Clean Agent does not require power cut-off when extinguishing electrical equipment fires, avoiding downtime losses. It is particularly suitable for scenarios such as automated production lines and precision instrument control rooms. Furthermore, its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is 0 and its global warming potential (GWP) is ≤1, which complies with the Montreal Protocol and the EU F-gas regulations

Fire protection for automated production lines
In automated production lines such as automotive manufacturing and electronic assembly, the FM200 Clean Agent achieves precise protection through total flooding fire extinguishing systems. For example, the electrostatic painting area in the spraying workshop is prone to deexplosion due to solvent evaporation. The FM200 Clean Agent can automatically release when the concentration of flammable gas exceeds the standard, reducing the oxygen concentration to below 12.5% to suppress combustion, and at the same time avoiding the rust damage to the robot arms and conveying devices caused by traditional water spraying. For the liquid injection and packaging processes of lithium battery production lines, the low-temperature sublimation characteristic (boiling point -16.4 ℃) of FM200 Clean Agent can quickly absorb thermal runaway energy, prevent chain fires of battery modules, and protect core equipment such as coating machines and slitting machines worth millions of yuan.
2. Deep protection in electrical equipment rooms
Areas such as the distribution room and frequency converter room in manufacturing plants are exposed to the risk of high-voltage fires, and the non-conductivity of FM200 Clean Agent becomes a key advantage. The measured data of a certain mechanical processing factory shows that when an arc short circuit occurs in its 10kV distribution cabinet, the FM200 Clean Agent system completes the fire extinguishing within 6 seconds. The surface temperature of the equipment drops from 1200℃ to room temperature, and on-site maintenance can be carried out without power failure, saving 72 hours of recovery time compared with the traditional dry powder fire extinguishing. In addition, the system can integrate three redundant alarms of temperature sensors, smoke detectors and flame detectors. Through PLC linkage to shut down the ventilation system, it ensures that the concentration of fire extinguishing agents remains above the designed value (8-10%), avoiding the risk of re-ignition.

For flammable and explosive places such as paint warehouses and solvent storage tank areas, the FM200 Clean Agent adopts local application fire extinguishing devices to achieve fixed-point protection. For example, cantilever nozzles are installed on the unloading platform of barrel solvents. When the infrared thermal imager detects an abnormal temperature rise, a single FM200 Clean Agent can form a fire extinguishing air curtain with a diameter of 2 meters within 3 seconds to prevent the initial spread of the fire. For chemical equipment such as reaction vessels and distillation towers, the system can dynamically adjust the spray strategy based on process parameters (such as pressure and temperature) to prevent secondary reactions between traditional fire extinguishing methods and hazardous chemicals, ensuring the safety of operators.
